Manchester United have confirmed the arrival of the Slovenian international Benjamin Šeško on Saturday.
Arriving from German club Leipzig, Šeško signed a 5-year contract with United, tying him to the club until summer 2030.
The clubs agreed to a fee of 76 million euros, up front, and another 8.5 million in bonuses.
Šeško said: “Manchester United is a club whose history speaks for itself – its success on the field, its larger-than-life & iconic home Ground. But what really excited me was the future.
And he added: When we talked about the project, it was evident that this is a team ready to keep growing and winning the biggest titles in a near future.
He said: 'The second I walked through the door, when I feel the good energy and family feeling at a club. Make no mistake — that is the place I will do my best work and reach everything I have set out for.
He said: "I'm excited to get working with Ruben and the boys when we're all back together and striving among us for success that we know is there for us all as a group.
